Filming Completed for the Movie ‘Zero Degree’

Kathmandu. The entire filming of the dark comedy movie ‘Zero Degree,’ being produced under the banner of Meghauli Films, has been completed.

The movie’s 'pack-up' was announced on Monday in Dhital village, Kaski, after taking the final shot featuring actors Rajan Bhusal and Prakash Ghimire.

The production team, which began rolling the camera at the Armalakot Temple in Pokhara with a 35-day shooting schedule, completed the filming in 37 days. The entire movie was shot in scenic and traditional settlements around Pokhara, including Armalakot, Dhital, Gharmi, and Bagar.

Jointly directed and written by Sajan Kafle and Akash Baral, this movie will feature actor Bijay Baral in a completely different and unseen avatar.

The story of the movie revolves around the chaotic and amusing situations that arise in a remote village with poor road access when a 'deep freezer' is carried up to the village to preserve a body until children living abroad return following the death of their parents. Before going into production, the movie’s satirical song ‘Are Ho Neta Ji’ was released.

Along with Bijay Baral, the movie features a strong acting lineup including Prakash Ghimire, Rajan Bhusal, Sanisha Bhattarai, veteran actress Basundhara Bhusal, Ramesh Budhathoki, Lokendra Lekhak, Sanjog Rasaili, Prabesh Mahatara Chhetri, Sharada Silwal, Sabina Thapa Chhetri, Ram Babu Regmi, Subash Gajurel, and Basu Khanal. Moti Karki is the executive producer, and Nishal Paudel handled the cinematography.

The movie features editing by Chanas Pun Magar, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, music by Ankit Babu Adhikari, and lyrics by Yuvraj Kafle. Publicity design will be handled by Royal Bhimsen and the Trident Concept team. The movie will be distributed by Kuber Cine Distribution outside the Kathmandu Valley and by DCN within the Valley.zero-degree1-1776842778.jpg
