Prime Minister Shah to Hold Discussions with Women Entrepreneurs Association Officials
Prime Minister Balendra Shah is holding a special meeting today with officials from the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs' Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The meeting, which is set to begin shortly, will feature detailed discussions between Prime Minister Shah and federation representatives regarding the promotion of women's entrepreneurship, expanding women's participation in industries and businesses, and necessary policy reforms.
The discussion will be attended by FWEAN President Darshana Shrestha, Third Vice President Mahalaxmi Shrestha, General Secretary Sabita Subedi, Secretary Dikila Sherpa Lama, and Executive Member Anuja Rajbhandari Shrestha.
It is expected that the meeting will also serve as a platform to exchange suggestions on the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, investment and financial access, the creation of an enterprise-friendly environment, and the policy initiatives required to promote women-led businesses.
