Partial Impact of Westerly Winds Across Nepal

Kathmandu: According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. As a result, the Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces are generally cloudy, while the hilly regions have partly cloudy conditions. 

The remaining Himalayan and hilly areas are mostly experiencing clear weather.

The Division stated that there is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces today. 

Additionally, fog and mist are expected in some areas of the Terai region.

Similarly, partly cloudy conditions are likely in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the weather in the remaining areas is expected to remain mostly clear.
