Weather Update: Fog Likely in Terai, Partly Cloudy in Hills and Mountains

Kathmandu: The Department of Meteorology has stated that the western winds currently present in the upper atmosphere are partially influencing Nepal. As a result, some areas in the Terai region are expected to experience fog this afternoon.

According to the department, the high hill and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the country is expected to be mostly clear.

The department further reported that some areas in the Terai may experience fog or mist tonight, with high hill and mountainous regions of Koshi province remaining partly cloudy. Other parts of the country are likely to remain mostly clear.

Due to mist and fog, morning activities, health, tourism, and air-road transportation may be affected. The department has urged the public to exercise necessary caution.
