Weather Update: Clear Conditions Across Nepal, Fog Likely in Terai

Kathmandu, January 12: Nepal is currently under the influence of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather across the country is mainly clear at present.
This afternoon, fog or mist is expected to occur in most areas of the Terai region. The Department stated that weather conditions in the hilly and mountainous regions will remain generally clear.
Tonight as well, fog is likely to persist in some parts of the Terai, while the weather in the hilly and mountainous regions is expected to remain mostly clear.
