Weather Update: Partial Influence of Westerly Winds Across Nepal
Kathmandu: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. As a result, light haze has been observed in a few places across the Terai region on Friday morning.
The department stated that light haze will continue in some parts of the Terai during the afternoon. Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see mostly clear skies.
Tonight, fog and mist are likely to persist in some areas of the Terai until midnight. Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces will remain generally cloudy, whereas other regions are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
