Weather Update: Mostly Clear Across Nepal, Fog Likely in the Terai

Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that there is currently no significant weather system affecting the country. According to the department, some areas of the Terai are experiencing fog and mist, while the hilly and mountainous regions of the country are mainly enjoying clear weather.

This afternoon, fog is likely to persist in many parts of the Terai. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province and the mountainous region of Gandaki Province are expected to see partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.

Similarly, tonight, fog is expected in some parts of the Terai. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces will experience partly cloudy weather, while other areas are forecast to remain mainly clear.
