Weather Update: Western Winds Affecting Nepal

Kathmandu: The country is currently under the influence of western winds. According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, today the weather will be partly cloudy in the high hill and mountain regions, while most other areas will experience mainly clear skies. Fog is observed in many parts of the Terai region.

During the day, most areas of the Terai will have fog or mist. The high hill and mountain regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province will be partly cloudy, while other areas will remain mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hill and mountain regions of Koshi Province. At night, fog will persist in many parts of the Terai, while the high hill and mountain regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy and other areas mainly clear.
