Today’s National Weather Forecast: Clouds, Fog, and Haze

Kathmandu: Currently, there is a partial influence of western winds across the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, fog has settled in many areas of the Terai region as well as in the valleys today. Additionally, there is partial cloud cover in the high-hilly and Himalayan regions.

It is estimated that the high-hilly and Himalayan parts of the country will generally remain cloudy, while the rest of the hilly areas will experience partial cloud cover and the Terai will remain mostly clear. 

There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two locations in the high-hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Similarly, there is a possibility of haze in some parts of the Terai tonight. The high-hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain generally cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the country will stay mostly clear. 

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two locations in the high-hilly and Himalayan parts of those provinces.
