Weather Forecast: Partial Influence of Western Winds and Fog in the Terai

Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is currently a partial influence of western winds across the country. 

As a result, the weather is partially cloudy in some provinces, and there is a possibility of mist and fog in most parts of the Terai region.

According to the Division, mist/fog will prevail across most parts of the Terai region this afternoon.

The Division stated that the weather will be partially cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province, as well as the high-altitude hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mainly clear.

The Division also mentioned the possibility of light rain/snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.

Tonight, the weather will be partially cloudy in the hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mainly clear. 

There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and fog will persist in some parts of the Terai.
