Western Low-Pressure System Triggers Weather Changes Across Nepal
Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Nepal is currently under the influence of a western low-pressure system. Due to this, there is haze in some parts of the Terai, while the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy weather.
According to the Division, there will be fog and mist in some parts of the Terai region this afternoon. The high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will be generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies.
The Division also stated that there is a possibility of light snowfall and rain in one or two places within the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, tonight, the mountainous regions of the country will be generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate snowfall or rain in a few places across the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
