Today's Weather: Generally Cloudy in the Hills, Fair in the Terai

Kathmandu: Currently, there is a partial influence of a western low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere over Nepal. Most hilly and mountainous regions of the country are experiencing generally cloudy conditions. 

Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is occurring at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. The weather in the Terai region remains mostly clear.

This afternoon, fog will persist in some parts of the Terai during the morning hours. The hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will be generally cloudy, while other hilly and mountainous areas will see partial clouds. 

The Terai region will remain mostly clear. There is a possibility of light rain or snow accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two locations in the hilly and mountainous areas of the remaining provinces.

Tonight, there will be haze in a few places in the Terai. The mountainous regions of the country will be generally cloudy, while the hilly areas will see partial clouds. The weather in the Terai will remain mostly clear. 

There is a possibility of light rain or snow accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two locations in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
