Western Winds Influence Weather Across Nepal
Kathmandu — Western winds continue to affect weather conditions across the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the high hilly and Himalayan regions will remain partly cloudy today, while the rest of the country will experience mostly clear weather. Fog has been observed in many areas of the Terai.
The Division stated that fog and mist are likely to persist until noon today in most parts of the Terai region. Provinces including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini will see partly cloudy skies, while the remaining hilly and Himalayan areas are expected to have mostly clear weather.
Similarly, during the night, fog is expected to occur in some areas of the Terai. The weather in the hilly and Himalayan regions of the country will remain mostly clear, the Division added.
