Waste Collection Suspended in Lalitpur Due to Elections

Kathmandu: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has suspended waste collection and sanitation activities this Thursday due to the House of Representatives elections.
The Environment and Sanitation Branch of the Metropolitan City issued a statement on Wednesday informing that regular waste collection work has been postponed in view of the House of Representatives member elections.
Since waste collection will be suspended, the Metropolitan City has also requested residents not to throw garbage haphazardly on the streets, in public places, or in open areas.
