‘VIP’ Facility Temporarily Suspended at Tribhuvan International Airport
Kathmandu – The ‘VIP’ facility at Tribhuvan International Airport has been temporarily suspended. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has instructed all passengers to use the regular routes for arrivals and departures.
The airport office has posted notices informing that the VIP service is currently closed. According to sources from the authority, the decision was made to prioritize regular passengers who were stranded in Kathmandu and other cities due to difficult circumstances, ensuring they reach their destinations on time.
As a result, all passengers will now have to use the standard procedures for airport services.
