Tribhuvan International Airport Closed Until This Evening

Kathmandu, 25 Bhadra: Following the increase in smoke over the airport and the skies of the Kathmandu Valley, Tribhuvan International Airport, which has been closed since Tuesday afternoon, will remain shut until 6:00 PM today.
According to the airport spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, all flights have been suspended until further notice; however, emergency and medical flights will continue to operate. Earlier, the airport closure had been scheduled only until 12:00 noon today.
