Trailer of Nepali Film ‘Magne Raja’ Released, Featuring Kedar Ghimire in Lead Role

Kathmandu — The trailer of the Nepali film Magne Raja has been officially released.

The trailer was launched during an event held on Thursday at Civil Mall, Kathmandu.

The movie features popular comedian Kedar Ghimire, widely known as Magne Budha, in the lead role. This marks his first appearance as a lead actor in a film. The trailer prominently showcases his performance.

The film also stars Barsha Siwakoti, Wilson Bikram Rai, and Shishir Wangdel in key roles. The story of Magne Raja is written by Samipya Raj Timalsena, and the movie is directed by Rishi Lamichhane under the banner of Aarambha Production.

In the film, the character Magne Raja is portrayed in both wealthy and ordinary appearances, delivering a message that money should not be earned without effort.

Magne Raja is scheduled to be released in cinemas across Nepal from Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025).
