Tragic Bus Accident in Baitadi Claims 13 Lives
Kathmandu. Thirteen people have died following a wedding procession bus accident in Baitadi. Among the injured in the accident that occurred on Thursday night, five more people passed away while undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital.
The deceased include 40-year-old Keshabraj Joshi and his 13-year-old son, Ashokraj Joshi, of Bitthadchir Rural Municipality Ward No. 7.
Similarly, 17-year-old Bisandatta Joshi, 28-year-old Deepakraj Joshi, and 46-year-old Kisandatta Joshi of Bitthadchir Rural Municipality Ward No. 7, Bajhang; 27-year-old Keshavraj Bhatta of Kedarsyu Rural Municipality Ward No. 7; and 14-year-old Sushil Joshi of Purchaudi Municipality Ward No. 7 died during treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital.
Additionally, 40-year-old Pushpa Awasthi of Purchaudi Municipality Ward No. 7 and 60-year-old Mohandev Bhatta of Kedarsyu Rural Municipality also lost their lives in the accident.
