771 Drivers Fined for Traffic Violations in 24 Hours
Kathmandu. Traffic police have taken action against 771 vehicle drivers in the past 24 hours.
As of Tuesday morning, traffic police said 8 drivers were penalized for driving under the influence of alcohol, 56 through CCTV monitoring, and 63 for violating red lights during checks conducted at various locations in the Kathmandu Valley.
Similarly, 111 drivers were penalized for speeding, 26 for violating the horn-prohibited rule, 41 for lane violations, 23 for operating vehicles in improper condition, 11 for violating one-way traffic rules, and 432 for other violations, according to the traffic police.
