Support Worth Around 1 Million Rupees to Kathmandu Valley Police Office

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council (NCC) China has handed over various materials worth around 1 million rupees to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office as support. The assistance was provided for the reconstruction of damages caused during the Genji Movement.
At a program organized by the Kathmandu Valley Police Office on Friday, the support included 10 sofa sets, 40 office work tables, 40 visitor chairs, 20 tea tables, and 15 steel cabinets.
The handover took place in the presence of NCC China President Mukunda Dhakal, former president and current ICC member Nirmal Sharma Chaulagai, Vice Presidents Pradeep Nepal and Suraj Byanju, General Secretary Suraj Nyaupane, Secretary Kamal Sapkota, member Rozen Makaju, registered members Priyas Kharel and Ankit Khatri, among others.
Similarly, on behalf of ICC and the Secretariat, NRNA President Dr. Badri KC, Chief Executive Officer Rajendra Kumar Raut, and Assistant Director Rabina Maharjan were present.
Speaking at the program, NCC China officials expressed happiness at being able to support the Nepal Police with essential materials and committed to continuing their contributions in the future as well.
NRNA President Dr. Badri KC highlighted that Nepalis living abroad have always contributed to their motherland during times of disaster and crisis, stating that NRNA will always remain ready during emergencies such as the damages caused by the Genji Movement and will continuously cooperate with the Government of Nepal in reconstruction efforts.
Chief of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Additional Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support received from NRNA, especially NCC China, noting that the Nepal Police is tirelessly engaged in maintaining peace and security for the people during such challenging times.
