Suman and Navina Star as Romantic Pair in Limbu Song ‘Ae Phung..’

Kathmandu : Despite residing in the United States for a long time, veteran filmmaker Kishor Subba continues to promote his native art and culture on a global scale. In this pursuit, his latest directorial project—a Limbu-language music video titled ‘Ae Phung..’—has been officially released on the JPJ Entertainment YouTube channel.

The music video features lyrics by Bibas Benam, composed by Mani Tamling, with vocals by Mani Tamling and Dipa Suhang. The lead roles are portrayed by Suman Thamsuhang and Navina Sambhahamphe, alongside performances by Bijeta Limbu, Sonia Labung, and Nira Nembang.

Shot across various scenic locations in the United States, the video was filmed by cinematographer Samrat Karki, edited by Mandil Shrestha, and color-graded by Binay Kansakar.

Speaking at the release, director Kishor Subba expressed his pride in the growing number of Limbu-language music videos being produced recently. He emphasized the importance of finding innovative ways to elevate Limbu music to new heights and urged artists to strive for even more impactful and high-quality productions.
