Singer Sarita Bharti Releases New Teej Song ‘Naachna De...’ Inspired by Traditional Ratyouli Tunes

Popular Nepali singer Sarita Bharti has released her latest Teej song titled ‘Naachna De...’ The video for the song was officially launched on Thursday evening via the ‘SB Creation Nepal’ YouTube channel. The song draws inspiration from traditional Ratyouli tunes of the Gandaki Province and brings a fresh, culturally rich flavor to this year’s Teej celebrations.

This marks Sarita’s second Teej song, following her first release five years ago titled ‘Rato Saari Larkkai...’ Unlike commercial Teej songs, ‘Naachna De...’ is rooted in authentic folk melodies. Sarita herself has penned the lyrics and composed the tune after collecting the melody from the Gandaki region. She also lends her voice to the track.

The music composition and arrangement have been done by Om Sunar, who previously collaborated with Sarita on a duet titled ‘Chhoda Satauna’, based on Sudurpaschim folk style. After a gap of eight months, they’ve come together again for this solo performance by Sarita.

The music video features Sarita Bharti in the lead role, accompanied by artists like Soni Karanjit, Srijana Shrestha, Karuna Shrestha, Shweta Shrestha Kafle, Nisha Thapa Basnet, and Abira Risal. It was shot at Ashraya Homestay in Machhegaun. Rajendra Pandey handled both cinematography and editing for the project.

Directed and choreographed by Krishna Rasaal, the video highlights vibrant dance elements. Rasaal has previously worked with Sarita on two other music videos, and this marks their third collaboration. The video has been designed as a dance-centric presentation in celebration of Teej.

With its strong cultural base, expressive choreography, and Sarita Bharti’s soulful performance, ‘Naachna De...’ is expected to resonate with audiences and bring festive spirit to the upcoming Teej season.
