Simran Pant to Star Opposite Pal Shah in New Nepali Film ‘Aa Bata Aama’

Kathmandu –
Actress Simran Pant has been signed for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Aa Bata Aama’, directed by Chandra Pant. The production team officially brought her on board on Monday. In the film, she will be paired opposite actor Pal Shah.
Simran Pant previously appeared in the movie ‘Hostel 3’, where her performance was well-received. ‘Aa Bataa Aama’ will mark her second feature film.
The cast already includes actress Bipana Thapa and renowned South Indian actor Pradeep Rawat, known for his work in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. Rawat had earlier worked under Chandra Pant’s direction in ‘Hraswadeergha’, where he portrayed the father of actress Neeta Dhungana. In the new film, he will play the role of Pal Shah’s father.
Director Chandra Pant has previously directed films like ‘Mai’ and ‘Hraswadeergha’. ‘Hraswadeergha’ was notable for marking Bipana Thapa’s return to Nepali cinema after a 16-year hiatus. She will now once again collaborate with director Pant in this new project.
Presented by Arya Entertainment, ‘Aa Bataa Aama’ is scheduled to begin filming this upcoming Bhadra (late August–early September). According to the producers, the final selection of cast members, including technical crew, will be announced soon.
The film’s theme poster was released a month ago, and as per director Pant, ‘Aa Bataa Aama’ is set to hit theaters nationwide on Falgun 15 (late February).
