Sher Bahadur Deuba Returning Home Today

Kathmandu: Outgoing President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, is returning home today.

Deuba is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 12:00 PM (noon) today (Thursday) aboard a Thai Airways flight from Thailand.

A large team of party leaders, including outgoing Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala, former office bearers, and Central Working Committee members, is preparing to arrive at the airport to welcome Deuba.

Deuba had flown to Singapore on February 25 (Falgun 13) for medical treatment. After receiving treatment there, he traveled to Hong Kong on March 20 (Chaitra 7) for further care. He is returning to Nepal via Thailand.
