Seven people have been arrested with illegal drugs from different parts of Nepal.

In Sarlahi, police arrested three people from Lalbandi Municipality-12 on Tuesday morning along with approximately 12 kilograms and 700 grams of marijuana. The arrested individuals have been identified as 50-year-old Sanu Pariyar, his 35-year-old wife Sabina Pariyar, both residents of Hariwan Municipality-2 Lalbhiti, and 40-year-old Gyanu Maya Yonjan, a resident of Lalbandi Municipality-14. A joint police team deployed from Area Police Office Lalbandi and Police Post Patharkot apprehended them with the illicit substance.

In Kaski, police arrested 35-year-old Narendra Bhujel, a resident of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 Chhorepatan, on Tuesday afternoon. He was caught with controlled pharmaceutical drugs, including 33 ampoules of Phenergan, 33 ampoules of Norphine, and 33 ampoules of Diazepam. A joint force from District Police Office Kaski and Ward Police Office Baidam discovered the drugs during a search of his residence.

In Kailali, three men were arrested on Tuesday afternoon from Godawari Municipality-5 Bhairab Toll with 3 grams and 580 milligrams of a substance resembling brown heroin. The arrestees are 45-year-old Shankar BK, 28-year-old Gopal Chaudhary, and 32-year-old Bijay Chaudhary, all residents of the same area. A police team from Police Post Geta found the substance during a search of Shankar's home and took all three into custody.

The police are conducting further investigations into all these cases.
