Second Song from Upcoming Film 'Magne Raja' Released, Set to Hit Theaters on Bhadra 6
The second song from the upcoming film "Magne Raja", which is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22), has been officially released. The song, titled "Ma Ta Sutera Utheko Paisama" ("I Live Off Money Earned While Sleeping"), was launched during an event held in the capital on Monday.
The song features the film's lead actors Kedar Ghimire (Magne Budha), Wilson Bikram Rai (Takme Budha), and child actor Ronish Khadka.
With vocals by Babul Giri, the music, lyrics, and arrangement are all done by Giri himself. In the child version of the song, Ronish Khadka, who also acts in the film, has provided supporting vocals. The choreography is by Gambhir Bista, and both the audio and video of the song are said to be of excellent quality. Given its catchy lyrics and engaging visuals, the song is expected to go viral on social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook Reels.
The film is directed by Rishi Lamichhane, marking his comeback to direction after almost eight years. The producer and presenter of the film is Munal Ghimire, who returns to filmmaking after a long break since the release of his film "Ichchha". Ghimire is currently serving as the Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 4 of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City in Dang.
Produced under the banner of Arambha Production, the film stars Kedar Ghimire, Barsha, Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangel, Sharada Giri, and TikTok model Pavitra Saki (aka Miss Pabi). The cinematography is done by Narendra Mainali, and actor Aryan Sigdel will also be seen in a special role. The film will be distributed by RR Films and features a story, screenplay, and dialogues by Samipya Raj Timalsina, with music by Deepak Sharma and Babul Giri.
