Police Issue Safety Alert Over Geyser Usage During Winter
KATHMANDU – District Police Range Kathmandu has issued a public safety warning following a rise in incidents where individuals have lost consciousness causing to loss of life while using geysers in bathrooms during the winter.
Authorities have noted that these tragic accidents primarily occur in poorly ventilated bathrooms, where the use of gas geysers leads to the accumulation of toxic carbon monoxide and a critical depletion of oxygen levels.
To prevent such life-threatening situations, the Nepal Police urges the public to ensure proper ventilation and a steady flow of fresh air in bathrooms before using heating systems.
