Speaker Draws Government's Attention to Disaster Preparedness and Safe Transportation Management

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has drawn the government's attention to making effective preparations to minimize human and material losses caused by disaster-related incidents such as floods, landslides, and inundation following the onset of the monsoon.

During Tuesday's House of Representatives meeting, Speaker Aryal urged the Government of Nepal to streamline disaster management through effective preparedness, relief, and rescue operations, as well as ensuring safe vehicular movement.

Speaker's Statement: "With the onset of this year's monsoon, disaster-related incidents such as floods, landslides, and inundation have begun to rise. I draw the attention of the Government of Nepal to arrange effective disaster preparedness, relief, and rescue operations, as well as safe vehicular movement, to minimize potential human and material losses from such disaster events."
