Satire on Educational System and Evaluation Methods in 'Roll No. 1' Trailer

Kathmandu. The trailer for the movie 'Roll No. 1' has been released. The production team, busy with the film's promotion, released the trailer on Friday.

Child psychology is clearly visible in the trailer. The story captures a father's desire for his son to study well and bring honor to the village, while the son's interest lies elsewhere. By presenting the story of a child who fails despite trying to fulfill his family's wishes due to a lack of interest, the trailer highlights child psychology.

It shows how students are deprived of scholarships simply because they are poor, and how respect is reserved only for the one who comes first. A society trapped in old mindsets, the hardships it inflicts on the poor, and familial and social conflicts can be seen in the trailer.

Through a father and son, the cinema subtly demonstrates the impact of rote learning on society and how parents chasing after it affect the psychology of young students. The main actors of the cinema can be seen in the trailer.

Produced by Binod Paudel, the movie 'Roll No. 1' is set to be released on Jestha 15. The production side stated that this movie tells the story of students' psychology. It is said that the film covers the story of the negative impact of the current educational system on child psychology and its effect on their entire life.

Directed by John Yonzon, the film stars Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in the lead roles. The child actors in the film include Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Samyam Katuwal, and Sejal Shrestha.

Produced by Binod Paudel and Janbi Paudel, Chhatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain are the co-producers of the film. 'Roll No. 1' is written by Mahesh Dawadi. Shibaram Shrestha is the DOP of this cinema.

The film features music by Prashant Shiwakoti, BGM by Rohit Shakya, Phirod Khadka as Chief AD, Kala Sangroula as Production Designer, and Manoj Joshi as Production Head. The editor of the film is Madan Ghimire.

According to producer Paudel, this movie will be released simultaneously in Nepal as well as abroad. The film is being distributed by Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema.
