Road Blocked in Banepa Following Fatal Tipper Crash and Arson

Kathmandu. A scooter driver died on the spot after being hit by a tipper near the Telecommunications office in Banepa Bazaar, Kavre. 

According to the police, the tipper with registration number Bagmati Province 01004 Ka 3423 hit the scooter with registration number Bagmati Province 029063 Pa 9189. One person was injured in the accident. 

The police have taken the deceased to Sheer Memorial Hospital. Following the incident, angry locals set fire to the tipper, while the driver is currently absconding. Police stated that the road is currently blocked, affecting the movement of vehicles.
