Resham Chaudhary and Manju Poudel Release Energetic Teej Song “Chhaina Ni Choliya” Featuring Shankar BC
Kathmandu — Folk artists Resham Chaudhary and Manju Poudel have come together to present a vibrant new Teej song for 2082 BS titled “Chhaina Ni Choliya.” The song premiered on YouTube just 21 hours ago and has already garnered over 35,000 views, resonating strongly with Teej enthusiasts across Nepal and abroad.
The song is a blend of traditional Tharu musical roots and festive Teej rhythms. Resham Chaudhary, who is not only a singer and composer but also a prominent politician from the Nagarik Unmukti Party, has penned the lyrics and composed the music for the track. His artistic collaboration with Manju Poudel, a well-known voice in Nepali folk music, has added depth and charm to the song.
The official music video, available exclusively on Manju Poudel’s YouTube channel, features dynamic performances by Shankar BC and Manju Poudel. Shankar BC, who also choreographed and directed the video, brings vibrant visual storytelling to the festive song. The cinematography by Durga Poudel & Team and editing by Nabin Gharti Magar further elevate the production.
Additional vocals were provided by RK Tharu, Manish Chaudhary, Aruma Chaudhary, Laxmi Rana, and Aarju Chaudhary, while Sudip Sagar arranged the music. The song was recorded at Music & Voice studio and mastered by SB Muskan.
