Relentless Overnight Rescue Efforts at Upper Trishuli-3 'A'

Kathmandu. Despite the adverse weather and the darkness of night, efforts are underway to rescue people trapped at the Upper Trishuli-3 'A' Hydroelectric Project due to flooding. 

Amidst continuous rainfall and difficult conditions, rescue teams including the Nepalese Army have been deployed throughout the night, making relentless efforts in search and rescue operations.

High-capacity floodlights have been installed at the site to overcome the risks posed by darkness and bad weather, allowing work to continue. Heavy excavators, including JCBs, are being continuously used to clear landslides and mud debris, attempting to clear the path and reach potential buried locations.

Rescue teams are meticulously searching using state-of-the-art search cameras and specialized monitors. Technical teams are engaged in ground-level coordination, equipped with emergency tools and first-aid kits.
