‘Rato Pacheuri’ Song from Upcoming Film ‘Citamol’ Released

The new song ‘Rato Pacheuri’ from the upcoming Nepali film ‘Citamol’, scheduled for release this Friday (Shrawan 23 / August 8), has been officially released. As part of the film’s aggressive promotional campaign, the production team unveiled the song, featuring vocals by Anjana Khatriwada and Ravi Od.

The lyrics, music, and arrangement of the song are by Babul Giri. The song is said to reflect authentic Nepali culture and is expected to further strengthen the emotional essence of the film’s story. The previously released trailer of Citamol had received very positive feedback from the audience.

The trailer humorously highlights social issues like poverty, unemployment, family struggles, and government negligence—subjects that seem to resonate strongly with viewers. Earlier released songs and posters have also successfully drawn the attention of the audience.

Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, Citamol features a star-studded cast including Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niroula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, R.R. Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aaradhya Rajyalakshmi DC. Shree Krishna and Januka are making their silver screen debut with this film.

Produced by Tulsi Devi Film Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Juntara Films, the story was written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and director Sane himself. Presented by Simos Sunuwar, the film is produced by Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Malla, and Kumar KC as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as co-producer.

The film’s music is composed by Babul Giri, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, DI coloring by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Mukesh Shah, stunt direction by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan, poster design by Rakesh Dahal, and production management by Bikash Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai. The cinematography is by Divya Subedi.
