Anna Sharma Starrer ‘Ramitako Pirati’ to be Released in India

‘Ramitako Pirati,’ which has gained buzz as one of the best films of the year, is now set to be released in India. Infinity Event and Entertainment, a company that has been organizing concerts and fashion events in India, has taken the responsibility of screening the film in Indian theaters starting from the second week of March.

The company stated that they have joined as producers for the Indian release, believing that the story and presentation of ‘Ramitako Pirati’ will be liked by young Indian audiences as well. An agreement to release the film in India was recently signed between producer Sagar Lamsal and Infinity.

‘Ramitako Pirati’ interestingly presents themes of love, separation, and self-reflection among today's youth. The film, which has entered its second week in Nepal, has been receiving inspiring feedback from young viewers for its realistic storytelling and the message that one must love oneself.

Infinity mentioned that they decided to release the film across India after feeling that ‘Ramitako Pirati’ captures the psychology of young Indian viewers too. 

The company added that since it was established with the goal of taking South Asian stories to the world, they have joined the distribution of ‘Ramitako Pirati’ to bring stories liked by the world to as many viewers as possible. It is stated that this will help expand the market for Nepali films not only within the borders but also beyond.

Regarding the collaboration, a representative from Infinity said, "Ramitako Pirati accurately portrays the love lives of today's youth, which the Indian audience can also easily relate to. It is important for a good film to reach as many viewers as possible. We will bring this film to a wide audience."

The company stated that they are currently in talks with theaters in India for the release and will soon announce information regarding the specific locations and dates. Directed by Sudipta, ‘Ramitako Pirati’ features Anna Sharma in the lead role. The film also stars Binay Shrestha, Dhiraj Magar, Samir Shrestha, Renu Yogi, and other actors.
