PUBG Mobile National Championship Starts Today

The PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) starts today (Saturday) in Kathmandu. The official two-day national PUBG Mobile tournament is organized by the Esports Association of Nepal (ESAN) and Esports County.

The tournament features 16 of Nepal's best PUBG Mobile teams, including DRS Gaming. Serving as an official pathway to the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), the event sees top talent competing, though the popular team Hora Esports has already advanced to the next stage in an earlier round.

The total prize pool for the championship is $1,000 USD, distributed across the top positions. The winner takes home $400 USD, while the second and third-place teams receive $250 USD and $150 USD, respectively. Fourth place earns $120 USD, and fifth place takes $80 USD.

Additionally, the top 12 teams will qualify for the 2026 PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) South Asia Fall.

Approved by the National Sports Council (NSC), the event offers entertainment activities alongside the matches, including live music, food stalls, and interactive gaming zones. Organizers highlighted that the two-day event provides a national platform for top players and teams to demonstrate their skills, boosting Nepal's PUBG Mobile and broader esports scene.
