ADB President Masato Kanda in Kathmandu, Commits to Continued Support for Nepal's Development

Kathmandu: Masato Kanda, the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), has arrived in Kathmandu for an official visit. He shared the update regarding his arrival through the social media platform 'X'.

Upon his arrival in Nepal, he reiterated ADB's commitment to continuously support Nepal's development, transformation, and long-term economic growth. Furthermore, he mentioned that ADB will continue its support in infrastructure development necessary for job creation and expanding new economic opportunities.

ADB is one of Nepal's major development partners. According to President Kanda, various development projects worth approximately $3.9 billion USD are currently ongoing in Nepal with ADB's investment.

During his visit, he stated that he will discuss the development priorities to be set by the new government of Nepal. He expressed his eagerness to participate in high-level talks for this purpose.
