Legendary Singer and Actor Prashant Tamang Passed Away

Kathmandu. Famous Nepali singer Prashant Tamang has left us. The Indian Idol Season 3 winner and Nepali film actor Prashant Tamang breathed his last due to a heart attack at his residence in Delhi.

Regarding his departure, singer Pramod Kharel wrote on social media, "What unpleasant and unbelievable news I had to hear. Our dear Prashant Tamang is no longer with us. May he rest in heaven."

Similarly, composer Arjun Pokharel also expressed grief and wrote, "The news has come that Prashant Khadka, who succeeded in living in the hearts and minds of Nepalis, is no longer among us. My heart is heavy and I feel very sad. I wish this news were false; I pray for the eternal peace of his soul." Prashant was born in a place called Tungsung in Darjeeling, India.
