PM Sushila Karki Calls for Unity and Hope on Tihar: "Let's End Despair and Darkness to Build a Bright New Nepal"

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has extended Tihar, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath greetings, urging all Nepali citizens to unite for the construction of a "bright new Nepal."

In her Tihar message, PM Karki described the festivals as a symbol of the victory of "light over darkness, hope over despair, and justice over injustice." She emphasized the need to channel the positive energy and inspiration from the celebrations toward national development.

The Prime Minister stated, "We celebrate these festivals as a symbol of the victory of light over darkness, hope over despair, and justice over injustice... Let us all come together, rising above any delusion, and end despair and darkness to unite for the bright future construction of a new Nepal."

PM Karki, who made history as Nepal's first female Prime Minister, used her festive message to underscore the importance of collective effort and optimism in addressing current political and social challenges, appealing to the public to move forward with a national resolve for peace, prosperity, and good governance.
