Pistol Found Hidden Inside House in Makwanpur, 19-Year-Old Youth Arrested

Makwanpur — Police have recovered a pistol and its magazine from Betini Agaute in Bagmati Rural Municipality-9, Makwanpur.

Acting on special information that a pistol was hidden inside the house, police conducted a search on Monday. According to police, the weapon was recovered from the home of 19-year-old Tek Bahadur Singtan, a resident of Betini Agaute.

The pistol was found wrapped in a red T-shirt inside a red plastic bag, which was stashed in a zebra bag located in the upper floor attic of the two-story concrete and corrugated zinc-roofed house.

Police reported recovering one pistol marked with 'No. 017110' along with one magazine.

Following the recovery of the firearm, 19-year-old Singtan was taken into custody. Police stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
