New Actor Added to the Movie 'Paanch Pandav'

Kathmandu. Actor Sushil Sitaula has joined the cast of the movie 'Paanch Pandav.' His entry comes while the film is currently under production.

"He (Sushil Sitaula) has been signed for one of the lead roles. He will play the part of one of the five Pandavas," said the film's presenter, Navin Shrestha. "We have brought an excellent artist into our film, just as we were looking for."

He will now share the screen with actors including Hari Bansha Acharya.

A short while ago, versatile actor Prashant Tamrakar and popular content creator and model Eva Giri also joined this film.

Produced under the banner of Kali Rani Films, the movie is being directed by Basanta Niraula.

Filming began on Chaitra 2 following an inauguration ceremony in Kakarbhitta, a town on the Nepal-India border. The project features a mix of veterans from the Nepali cinema industry and popular artists of the new generation working together.

Hari Bansha Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, and Sushil Sitaula will appear in the lead roles of the 'Paanch Pandav.' Additionally, Deepa Shree Niraula, Sarita Giri, Binod Neupane, and Rama Thapaliya, among others, will have major roles in the cinema.

Writer Sushil Poudel clarified that 'Paanch Pandav' is a social drama. According to him, the film will present a story of contemporary Nepali society using the characters and metaphors of the five Pandavas from the Mahabharata.

Presenter Navin Shrestha previously produced the film 'Laaj Sharanam' last year.

The film is being produced by Kali Rani Shrestha. Most of the scenes will be shot in scenic and significant locations in Jhapa. Director Niraula stated that after finishing the schedule in Jhapa, the team will travel to other locations.

Shyam Tamang is filming the movie, which features a story, screenplay, and dialogue by Sushil Poudel.
