Over Rs 48.2 Million Offerings Collected in Pathibhara in One Year

TAPLEJUNG. Over Rs 48.2 million in offerings has been collected in Pathibhara, located in Taplejung, in one year. A total of Rs 48,203,855 in offerings was collected from the month of Saun to Asar last year.

According to the details published by the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, Rs 1,039,000 in offerings was collected in the month of Saun, Rs 997,000 in Bhadau, and Rs 3,382,000 in Asoj last year. Similarly, Rs 3,448,500 was collected in the month of Kattik, Rs 7,549,100 in Mangsir, and Rs 2,425,000 in the month of Pus.

Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, Prajin Hangbang, stated that Rs 1,847,500 in offerings was collected in the month of Magh, Rs 3,110,000 in Phagun, and Rs 5,844,500 in the month of Chait. According to him, the highest amount of offerings, Rs 10,628,000, was collected in the month of Baisakh. Executive Director Hangbang said that collecting over one crore rupees in a single month is probably the first such record.

Similarly, Rs 4,660,600 was collected in the month of Jeth and Rs 3,272,655 in the month of Asar. According to the committee, 2,502,078 devotees visited and worshiped at the Pathibhara temple in one year.

Likewise, the Pathibhara Area Development Committee stated that Rs 318,500 in offerings was collected in the month of Saun of the current fiscal year. A total of 2,469 people reached Pathibhara and offered worship.
