No program organized related to Minister Gupta – NRNA USA

USA, Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council-USA (Satendra Sah) has presented an official stance regarding the much-discussed US visit of Minister Gupta and rumors of it being organized by NRNA.

Issuing a press release regarding the visit of Minister of Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta and the discussions surrounding it, NRNA USA clarified that it has not organized any program and has not extended an invitation to Minister Gupta.

The statement also mentioned that its serious attention has been drawn to the fact that some individuals or groups are conducting illegal and unauthorized activities by misusing the organization's name, logo, EIN number, and digital identity.

In the press release issued by NRNA USA, it is mentioned that the association is an officially registered legal entity in the United States, and any unauthorized activities carried out using the organization's name and identity create serious legal, financial, and reputational risks.

The statement says, it is illegal for any person or group to conduct programs, fundraising, or other activities using the organization's name, EIN number, website, or digital platforms without the official information, approval, and decision of NRNA USA, and the concerned individuals or groups themselves will be fully responsible for such actions.

Honorable Minister for Youth and Sports of the Government of Nepal, Bablu Gupta, has not been invited to any program in the USA, nor has NRNA USA organized any youth-related program in the USA.

In the statement issued by the organization's spokesperson Sandesh Upreti, the association stated that considering the seriousness of the matter, formal information regarding such illegal activities has already been provided to US Homeland Security and the US Embassy in Nepal.nrna-about-sport-minister-gupta-(1)-1767938254.jpg
