90 Students Participate in NRNA MBBS Scholarship Selection Exam
The selection exam for the MBBS scholarship program, run in collaboration between the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and Asian International University (AIU), was completed on Saturday.
90 students participated in the exam held at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.
Before the exam, NRNA President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha and Female Vice President Rojina Pradhan reached the exam center to give their best wishes to the candidates.
Under this program, NRNA will provide full scholarships to 2 Nepali students to study a 6-year MBBS course in Uzbekistan. The selection exam for the scholarship was based on the Medical Education Commission's syllabus.
During the program, Dr. Kisan Bhandari, Dean of Asian International University, expressed his happiness in contributing to Nepal’s health sector by providing medical education to Nepali students. Dr. Anil Karki, President of the Nepal Medical Association, was also present at the event.
According to NRNA, the interview process will take place after the written exam results are published. Finally, the names of the 2 selected students will be announced soon through a press conference.
