NRNA 12th Unity Convention; Membership Registration Open Until Jan 16
The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) International Coordination Council has officially decided to hold its 12th General Convention from February 23 to 25, 2026, marking a significant step toward broader organizational unity.
Following the successful unification of the association, a newly formed Steering Committee has taken charge of the convention preparations, ensuring that all procedural matters are handled with transparency and efficiency.
To facilitate this transition, specialized committees including the National Coordination Council (NCC) Unity and Facilitation Committee and the Membership Management Committee have been established and are currently active in their respective roles.
As part of the technical integration process, the association is working to consolidate various existing membership records.
Details of members who previously registered through the Member Information System (MIS), the High Level Committee (HLC) portal, or various parallel portals created by National Coordination Councils will be verified and merged into the unified Members Registration System (MRS). This synchronization aims to create a single, authentic database for all global members.
Furthermore, the NRNA has issued an open call to all non-resident Nepalis worldwide who have not yet obtained membership through any previous platform. Eligible individuals are encouraged to register their membership via the Members Registration System by January 16, 2026, to ensure their participation in the upcoming General Convention.
The association emphasizes that this inclusive approach is vital for the successful execution of the unity convention and the future representation of the diaspora community.
