NRNA 12th General Convention Rescheduled for March at Hotel Soaltee

The Steering Committee of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) held its seventh meeting on January 16, 2026, to finalize key details regarding its upcoming convention.

During the meeting, which was led by General Secretary Gauri Raj Joshi, the committee decided to change the dates for the 12th General Convention.

Originally planned for February, the event is now officially scheduled to take place from March 14 to 16, 2026, at Hotel Soaltee in Kathmandu. Vogue Ad & Event Management has been selected to handle the event arrangements.

The committee also extended the deadline for new membership applications until January 25, 2026. This extension applies to all National Coordination Councils (NCCs) to ensure their member data is submitted and merged correctly.

General Secretary B.R. Lama and President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha will oversee this data collection. The final list of verified members will be published by January 31 after completing the necessary document checks.

Additionally, the association plans to consult with legal advisors and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding election procedures while working to bring various NCC groups together for a successful convention.
