Niti Shah Signed as Lead Actress in Intercaste Love Story Film ‘Jadau’

Kathmandu, Ashar 22 – Popular model and actress Niti Shah has been officially signed as the lead actress for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Jadau’, which is based on an intercaste love story. The agreement between Niti and the film’s production team was signed on Saturday in Kathmandu.
Actor Mukun Bhusal had already been confirmed for one of the lead roles in the film. With Niti’s addition, the film’s central cast has now been finalized.
Written by Kaji Limbu, Jadau is a joint production of Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment. The co-producers of the film include Ramraja Subedi, Om Chemjong, Shanta Tamang, and Narayan Shastri.
The film will be managed by Buddi Majhi, and filming is set to begin in the first week of Bhadra. The shooting will take place across various locations in Dang and Pyuthan districts. The production manager for the Pyuthan unit is Lachhuman Bhandari.
The film’s music will be composed by Babul Giri.
Bimala Bhandari, managing director of Silver Screen Entertainment, stated that details regarding the film’s director, remaining cast, and technical crew will be revealed in the coming days.
Jadau is expected to portray the complexities and emotional struggles of intercaste relationships within Nepali society, making it a socially relevant romantic drama.
