New Teej Song ‘Ranihar’ Released by Lyricist Yam Prasad Niure

Kathmandu — As the grand Hindu festival of Haritalika Teej approaches, artists have begun releasing Teej-themed songs. On this occasion, lyricist Yam Prasad Niure has released a new Teej song titled ‘Ranihar’.

Previously known for touching hearts with emotional songs like ‘Choli Phateko’, Niure this time brings a light-hearted and entertaining song that reflects themes of love, laughter, and fun. The lyrics of the song were written by Niure himself, and he is accompanied in vocals by the popular folk singer Devi Gharti Magar.

The song incorporates familiar traditional tunes that inspire listeners to dance and enjoy. The music video of ‘Ranihar’ features captivating performances and dance by Smarika Dhakal and Suresh Kohli. The video was choreographed and directed by Prabin Thapa, with cinematography by Rajesh Ghimire and editing by Sujan Koirala.

Previously released ‘Choli Phateko’ had won many hearts with its melody by Shiva Hamal, vocals by Nisha KC, and performance by Anjali Adhikari.

Both songs have been released through Yam Prasad Niure’s official YouTube channel. One being emotional and the other joyful, these songs have added vibrant colors to this year's Teej celebrations.
