New Poster of the Film ‘Abhimanyu: Chapter–1’ Released, Showing a Blend of Happiness and Tension

Kathmandu – The new poster of the Nepali film ‘Abhimanyu: Chapter–1’ has been released, portraying a unique blend of happiness and tension on the faces of the main actors. In the poster, Kameshwar Chaurasia is prominently featured, with a joyful expression, while other actors Shishir Wangdel, Prakash Dahal, Gaumaya Gurung, Laxmi Bardeba, and Sarita Giri display expressions of tension and stress.

The poster also includes government offices such as the Morang District Prison, hinting at the complex circumstances surrounding the story.

The film is scheduled to be released on Bhadra 27 (mid-September) in Nepal, with the Hindi version set for a worldwide release on September 22. According to the producers, the movie tells a story of temptation by money and the struggles that follow.

The film is directed by Sushant Gautam, marking his directorial debut. The main cast includes Kameshwar Chaurasia, Sarita Giri, Gaumaya Gurung, Laxmi Bardeba, Shishir Wangdel, Kiran Shrestha, Prakash Dahal, and Sushma Nirola.

The screenplay is written by Mukesh Khanal, with Madan Thapa serving as the creative director. The producers are Vinod Paudel and Gunjan Giri, while Ramesh Chaulagai and Hari Shrestha are co-producers. Executive producers include Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luitel, and Sandesh Shrestha.

Currently in post-production, the film’s crew also features Jiban Shakya as line producer, Manoj Shrestha in VFX, Suprim Parajuli handling color grading, Madan Ghimire as editor, and Sharad Mahato as director of photography.
