New Actress Rajshree Thapa to Debut in Film ‘Jadau’

Kathmandu, August 8 —

Newcomer actress Rajshree Thapa has been signed for the film ‘Jadau’. Actively working as a model and stylist, Rajshree has previously appeared in a music video of singer Sushant KC. With her entry, the lineup of actors for ‘Jadau’ has now been finalized, according to the production team.

The film will be jointly directed by Kaji Limbu and Anjan Sharma, and will feature actors Mukun Bhusal, Richa Sharma, Niti Shah, Prabhatpal Thakuri, Binod Neaupane, Geeta Adhikari, Sharda Giri, Sandhya Shrestha, Anil Subba, among others.

Based on the theme of inter-caste love and raising a voice against social malpractices, ‘Jadau’ will be shot in various locations of Dang and Pyuthan.

The movie is being jointly produced under the banners of Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment. The co-producers are Ramraja Subedi, Sumitra Devkota, Gokul KC, and Narayan Shastri. Production management will be handled by Buddhi Maji, while cinematography will be done by Shyam Tamang.

Written by Kaji Limbu, the film’s songs will feature music by Arjun Pokharel and Babul Giri, with action direction by Milan Shrestha. According to Silver Screen’s managing director Bimala Bhandari, shooting for the film will begin in the first week of Bhadra (mid-August).
