Nepal Weather Update: Fog in Terai, Clear Skies in the Hills

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial influence of western winds in the country. The Himalayan regions are generally cloudy, while the rest of the country is experiencing partly cloudy skies. Some locations in the Terai are experiencing haze.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, fog will occur in some parts of the Terai this afternoon. While many places in the Terai will experience mist, the weather in the hilly and Himalayan regions will remain clear.

Similarly, tonight, fog will occur in some parts of the Terai, while the weather in the hilly and Himalayan regions will remain clear.

The Division has urged everyone concerned to remain alert as snowfall, rain, and mist could affect daily life, tourism, trekking, health, as well as air and road transport.
